Biography

Tilly is a Bristol based singing, dancing, aerialist and physical theatre performer. Her love for aerial began at an international aerial dance festival, where she first discovered she could dance in the air! She has since graduated from Circomedia, school of Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, with a first class degree specialising in static trapeze and physical theatre. She has performed from a very young age in various youth companies, including Shift Youth Dance Company and singing in Finchley Children's music group. In 2009 she performed in Rosemary Lee’s Common Dance, commissioned and presented by Dance Umbrella, an international dance festival, London.

 

Tilly's professional career as a performer really started at Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2013, where she performed in a sell out run of physical theatre piece Chaucer Hold Up your Tale. Since graduating Tilly has worked with renowned circus company Cirque Bijou and performed her singing trapeze act Sister Rosetta at various festivals including The Social Club at Shambala. She was also a performer in The Landings, a site-specific piece by Stacked Wonky Dance

Tilly loves creating and performing new original work, intergrating all of her skills. She enjoys interacting and playing with her audience, and performing in a range of contexts and settings. She is always excited to try new things and work with new people!
